Malik Dupri, a rising star in the fashion industry and former Doctor, is set to open his flagship store in SoHo. Indeed, this marks a significant milestone in his entrepreneurial journey. Previously, Dupri made waves as the youngest person to open a store at Roosevelt Field Mall at age 25. Now, he is expanding his brand to the heart of Manhattan’s fashion district. 302 Mott Street, corner of Houston Street in SoHo is where the opening will occur.
Initially, Dupri gained attention as an All-American football player and captain at Ithaca College. There he earned his doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. Subsequently, his dive into entrepreneurship began with the launch of Savage Ruthless. This was a college startup clothing line that introduced him to the world of branding. He enjoyed his brief career as a physical therapist for the San Francisco Giants. Dupri ultimately shifted his focus to building his fashion empire. It now caters to high-profile clients and celebrities.
Furthermore, the upcoming SoHo store reflects Dupri’s growing influence in the fashion world. Over the years, his designs have been worn by notable figures such as Damon John on Shark Tank and rapper Rick Ross. Most recently, Dupri collaborated with NFL quarterback Joe Burrow and Guinness on an exclusive product line. He steadily adds to his list of accomplishments. Additionally, Dupri has worked with artist Cash Cobain, further establishing his brand within the industry.
“I’ve always believed in creating something of my own. The SoHo store represents the next step in that vision,” says Dupri.

As a result of this expansion, the grand opening event is scheduled for October 26, 2024, from 12pm to 8pm.
