In New York City, Harlem has always been a place where music finds its audience all while encompassing the unmatched energy of the Big Apple.

On a recent Thursday night at The Corner Lounge Bistro on East 130th Street, WYNMAKESNOISE has proved he understands that assignment completely.

For $15 rosé and complimentary sweet popcorn, guests settled into the moody red and blue-lit environment—bar stools, seated tables, and the whole room engaged.

The night explored sounds from Norah Jones to Donald Glover without missing a beat.

Singer Yeni delivered a rendition of Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” alongside WYNMAKESNOISE on guitar.

The singer then turned around and covered Tyla’s “Water” while he jammed in harmony behind her.

Sade and Michael Jackson filled the intermission—and nobody left their seat.

Post-intermission, WYNMAKESNOISE brought up Sonya, a jazz singer he’d met only the week prior at Samara Joy’s Wednesday jams at the same spot—a reminder that this residency is where talent is discovered.

“The night brought everyone together,” publicist Sara Alhariri of Velvet Insider Entertainment said. “People from all walks of life were jamming along to the music.”

The room itself tells the story of New York City—where the American dream is alive and diverse.

Flags from countries across the world—from Saudi Arabia to Portugal—hang above the venue.

The performers reflect that same geography — including a rapper delivering verses in a local Philippine dialect, fusing his bars with Filipino folk melodies and a live band in real time.

“Everything is kind of motivated by love and sharing,” WYNMAKESNOISE told Bleed Magazine.

“When I do see people that come to the show, I’m grateful. I’m glad I got to share this gift of music with them.”

The Harlem attraction happens every Thursday from 7 to 10PM at the Corner Lounge Bistro, 32 E 130th Street.
